What if I am Tax Exempt? Please DO NOT place your order until our site administrator has verified and confirmed your sales tax exemption status for the District of Columbia. If you place your order prior to receiving the confirmation email, you will be charged a non-refundable sales tax. Please follow the below steps:
- Create or confirm your existing account.
- Submit a certificate of exemption from the District of Columbia, along with your account name, to orders@cciproductions.io.
- Within 1 business day, you will receive an email response confirming your account's tax exemption status.
Please note, an organization that is recognized as tax exempt by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is not automatically recognized tax exempt under the laws of the District of Columbia. In order to establish tax exemption, an organization shall file a Form FR-164 Application for Exemption [PDF] with the Office of Tax and Revenue, Exempt Organizations, PO Box 556, Washington, DC 20044.
How should I format my poster file? Please refer to our File Submission Guidelines.
When, where and how will I retrieve my poster? Posters will be delivered free of charge to the Poster Pickup Booth in Concourse B at the AGU Fall Meeting. You will receive an email notification once your poster has been delivered to the booth. Show this notification to a booth representative to retrieve your poster. View our booth hours
What are the order cutoff dates? Your order must be placed at least one full business day (Monday through Friday before 17:00 EST) prior to your presentation day. To ensure all orders are processed in a timely manner and to prevent a bottle neck leading up to the convention, CCI offers reduced pricing for orders submitted early.
EARLY BIRD ordering closes at 17:00 EST on November 22, 2024.
STANDARD orders must be placed at least 4 business days prior to your assigned presentation day.
RUSH orders received by 12:00 EST; Monday-Friday will be available next business morning. Rush orders received between 12:00 and 17:00 EST; Monday-Friday will be available next business day by 13:30 EST.
Note: Orders placed placed after 17:00 EST or over the weekend will not be received until the next business day. E.g. A "Rush" order placed on a Saturday will be received on Monday and ready for pickup Tuesday.
Will I get to see a proof before my poster is printed? Due to the high volume of orders being processed in a very short timeframe, we will not be sending out individual proofs. Files are printed as submitted so please be sure to follow our File Submission Guidelines carefully. You can preview your file upload via the link in your cart to ensure the correct file is attached to your order. Please be sure to double check your file for errors and image quality before checking out.
Will hanging hardware be provided? Yes. Push pins will be provided at the Poster Assistance Desk in the Poster Hall.
Are your posters eco-friendly? Why yes, they are!
Our paper posters are not only recyclable, but printed with UV inks. Unlike conventional inks, UV inks are 99.5% VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) free, making them more environmentally friendly.
UV inks are specially formulated to cure when exposed to ultraviolet (UV) light instead of oxidation (air). These unique inks dry much faster, resulting in sharper and more vibrant images that are more resistant to scratching and marking. Because they cure instantly, very few harmful VOCs are released into the environment.

What is your return policy? Unfortunately, we can not accept returns on custom printed products. Please read our File Submission Guidelines carefully before uploading your file. Customers are responsible for file contents and missed deadlines due to failure to properly read turnaround time caveats. If an error is caused on our behalf, we will either issue a refund or reprint the poster for you at no additional cost.
